Our children gave us a wildlife holiday at Glenloy Lodge near Fort William (Scotland) a few years ago. Jon and Angela have Pine Martens, a very rare mammal now found mainly in Scotland. There is a family living in the woods surrounding their Lodge. Although they are a shy and secretive mammal, they have encouraged them to the front of the house by putting food out at dusk each day although they are still very shy and easily scared away. What a treat to see them!
