It takes a lot of organising in the days before so that they are always busy – and a lot of clearing up afterwards! But it is so worthwhile and such fun. In fact, it is so hectic that we have very few photos of these days! Now that some of them are adults, we have adapted so that we have the younger children for half the day followed by an all-age family activity for everyone, such as bowling, and a meal, followed by “Secret Santa” amongst the eight grandchildren.
