Sheep today, but as a link with ponies and horses yesterday, here is a photo of both grazing in a field together!
- England: A fine ram
- Most sheep run away from people they don’t know, but these Lake Dsitrict sheep were all over us, pushing and licking us!

- England: The biggest ram I have ever seen!
- This sheep, given to one of our TESS sponsored boys in Uganda many years ago is still producing lambs.
In 2013, I visited my friend Rainee who was living in the Falkland Islands, on West Island. One of her three neighbours in Hill Cove invited us to go out on a “gather” to move 3,000 sheep, using just three dogs, to fresh grazing on West Lagoons Farm. It required miles of off-road driving while the dogs did virtually all the work!
