“Watching Time”

I’ve been “Watching Time” over the last few days!

Yesterday was my fourth attempt at taking the necessary photos to make the sixth in my series of “Lockdown Movies”.  Taking a photo every 3 minutes from 7.00am to 6.00pm somewhat dominated the day! Then I spent this afternoon making a video from the 320 photos. I find the slight curve made by the top of the “gnomon” moving (the shadow of the top of the vase) is fascinating although the science is beyond me!

You can watch it on Vimeo – only one and a quarter minutes long. You might need to watch it more than once to see what the shells get up to! Which one has an insatiable appetite?
