A WEEK OF SNOW PICTURES
Although I hate the cold and the short, dark miserable days of winter in England, I love it when the world is transformed into a wonderland of incredible beauty by snow, frost and bright sunshine, usually only for a day or two. If dressed up warmly with quilted coats, gloves, scarf, hat and boots, then I enjoy being out in the snow, perhaps walking or sledging down slopes, building snowmen or throwing snowballs with the family. I’ve never learnt to ski. Tessa is like me, so if the snow comes at night, we go out in case it has all thawed by the morning! Unfortunately, with changing weather patterns, snow is now rare where we live in the middle of England, so I sometimes go in search for it elsewhere! But I will start today with home photos.
