I love eating mushrooms, but have always been too frightened to eat any I find in the wild because I know nothing about Fungi. But their variety of unusual shapes and colours fascinate me. While some are very ephemeral, bracket fungi seem permanent fixtures on trees. Their life cycles are extraordinary.
