A PHOTO A DAY HELPS …… Day 46

I’m cheating again, on the last day of this week’s theme of butterflies of Britain and Europe. These two are sometimes quite common in our garden, where I photographed both of these, but not this year. Buddleia flowers are a great favourite of many butterflies.

  1. What’s cheating about garden butterflies ? As I think I said earlier, there have been loads of peacocks around here during the recent prolonged spell of warm sunshine. Yesterday Storm Arthur arrived and we opened the curtains to see the garden chairs lying flat instead of upright and today the big bucket used for weeds and other stuff destined for the bin in the middle of the grass despite having ben left in a corner of the house with some water in it. One more photo for this week on its way.

have you dreamt up a theme for next week ?
