Today’s butterflies all belong to the family of Browns. They are small and not as showy as many butterflies, but are still worth a closer look.
- Speckled Wood near Bempton Cliffs, Yorkshire
- Ringlet near Bempton Cliffs, Yorkshire
- Spanish Heath (Pyrenees) looks almost identical to our Large Heath (UK)
- Pearly Heath, Spain
Unfortunately I haven’t got a photo to send you, but when I was out with our natural History group a couple of months ago We saw a few of the rare Northern Brown Argus.
